Welcome to Reception and Nursery Class 1

I have worked in Early years for 17 years. The most important thing for me is to build strong relationships with the children and their families. If this is achieved and the children are happy and feel safe, then their learning flourishes. I strongly believe that children learn best through play, developing their language skills and social skills. We have a real focus on physical development where we work on our gross and fine motor skills to help prepare our core and muscles in our hands and fingers ready for writing later on. Here at Fulford we follow the children’s interests and the children have a say in their learning and what they would like out in our continuous provision.

I am very lucky to have Mrs Reeves and Mrs Clifford who support the children in Class 1.

With myself, Mrs Reeves and Mrs Clifford, the classroom is full of laughter and fun as we all learn together!
